In May last year we launched the first short film in a series on forced displacement of Palestinians on both sides of the Green Line, produced by Adalah. This first film - From Al-Araqib to Susiya - looked at Israel’s attempts to displace Bedouins living in the Naqab desert on the Israeli side of the Green Line, as well as in the South Hebron Hills of the Occupied West Bank.
We discovered striking similarities in the two locations. To find out more, see the whole film here.
Last week we completed shooting the second short film in the series: From Akka to Hebron. This time we are focusing on methods of displacement Israel uses in urban settings, looking specifically at the old historic centres of Akka in -48 and Hebron in the West Bank.
More on this soon… In the meantime, you can see some more photos from the shooting days here!
